Save the Date!!!

I have another date for you to save, May 9th! Barnes and Noble in Sioux City, Iowa is hosting a book signing for me for my ECPA Best Seller, Dakota Love and my April release, Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart along with Sweet on the Cowgirl and The Widow's Suitor!

The Widow's Suitor, like all category romances had a short shelf life, but the Barnes & Noble in Sioux City still have PRINT copies. I believe Crossroads Bookstore in Sioux Falls has print copies too. To my knowledge, those are the only two places you can still purchase a print copy of my RITA nominee. So if you're looking for a print copy, check these two stores OR come to my book signings so I can personalize it for you!

I received word this morning that The Widow's Suitor is a finalist for the RWA's Rita Award!!!!!!

I am beyond excited and humbled.

Shameless Self-Promotion Blog Post!

Yep, the title of this blog says it all. It's full of shameless self-promotion! First, I have a book signing at Crossroads Bookstore in Sioux Falls, SD on April 18th at 1 PM. This signing is for Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart and Dakota Love. Save the date! I hope to see you there.

I need your help! Dakota Love was on the ECPA Best Seller list for the months of February and March! Help me keep it on the best seller list for April! How can you help? Purchase a copy or two. Mother's Day is just around the corner after all. There are copies available on, Barnes & and has the best price at $6.29.

Lastly, Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart is available for presale. The books official release date is April 7th. As I mentioned in my blog post last week, this will be my last release for a while. This book is available at the same outlets mentioned above and will make a great Mother's Day gift!

Well, I finally heard back from Harlequin on the remaining books in my rodeo series. They will not be released under the Love Inspired line of books. So...I'm back to the drawing the board!

This doesn't mean that Love Inspired editors won't consider other book ideas from me, it just means, they aren't interested in this series. I really liked this series and the occupations I chose for the heroine's since all of the hero's were rodeo calf ropers. Maybe someday I can recycle those story ideas.

For now, though, I'll put them in my story idea file and start working on one of my new story ideas! The unfortunate thing for me is I would have had a book release every six months. Now, after my April release, Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart,  I won't have another book release until early 2016, which is a novella in compilation with other authors.

By the way, Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart, is available for pre-order and if you are a Goodreads member, I'll be hosting a giveaway next week, stop by and enter!

Another Month Gone!

February is always a short month even during a Leap Year, but this February seemed to fly by for me. I also felt lazy and unproductive, yet when I recapped my month I did discover I had a busy writing month.

I turned in my novella to Barbour Publishing. This will be a story included in their Lassoed in Marriage compilation. I'm not certain of the release date, but for my readers who enjoy historical over contemporary this book is for you.

Union Gospel Press was happy with my sample assignment so now I can go forward with the remaining stories for their children's publication, JEWELS.

Standard Publishing contacted me with a short story assignment which I accepted.

So, I've been working on short stories this month which falls into my one word for my writing: Diversity.

I'm sure depending on where your live February might have seemed like a long month with ice and snow storms. We keep missing the really severe weather which make me wonder if March will come in like a lion and go out like a lamb or vice-versa.

Did February seem long or short to you?
