One Month Down....

Can you believe it's the last day of January? We are one full month into 2015. It hardly seems possible.

I haven't given you an update on what I've been doing since November, so that is the subject of my post today.

Last fall I learned the sad news that Harlequin is closing the Heartsong Presents line. My last book with that line releases in April of 2015. I'm really excited about, Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart, so I hope you all look for it online or ask your favorite bookstore or librarian to order it for you.

I'm having fun promoting Dakota Love and reading the reviews and ratings it's receiving online.

I've been doing some book giveaways on Goodreads. Are you a member? If not, you should be. This is a fun site for writers and readers to interact.

Today I will finish the revisions on what should have been the second book in my rodeo series. My contract is still open with Harlequin. I am just waiting for direction on how to proceed with the remaining books on the contract.

I will start the last revision on a novella for Barbour that is due in May. This story will be in an anthology with several authors and is set to release in 2016.

I turned  in two stories on a writing assignment for children's Sunday school papers and am waiting for editorial guidance before I start working on the remaining stories in the contract.

I signed on to present a session on breaking into the Christian children's writing market at the Omaha Wordsowers conference in April.

That's it for me. I'm looking forward to a new month and starting a new book project.
