South Dakota Festival of the Books

I'm sad to say. I'm missing the South Dakota Festival of the Book this year, but that doesn't mean you should!

Here is the link to the Festival activities tomorrow. If you are in the Sioux Falls area and love to read or write, you don't want to miss this!

Taking a Poll

As we are heading into the ending the third quarter of the year, I start to think about my writing goals for the upcoming year. Even though I have contracts, I have to consider what my next project(s) will be after I finish my contract, so I can begin my research on careers and settings.

My question to you the readers is: Do you enjoy books with middle-aged characters falling in love? Or are you hooked on young people finding their ever lasting loves?

Please leave an answer on my blog OR on the Facebook post along with the reason why and you'll be entered in a drawing to win a copy of my latest release, Sweet on the Cowgirl. The winner will be announced in next week's blog.

A Few Updates

Save the date! I'm part of a  multiple author book signing at Barnes & Noble in Sioux City, Iowa on September 20th. The other authors joining me are: Mary Connealy, Marilyn Kratz, and Loretta Sorenson.

I'm firming up a date for another book signing at Crossroads Bookstore in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Stay tuned for details.

The title of my April 2015 release is now Reclaiming the Cowboy's Heart. I've been handling a few edits on that manuscript and preparing the proposal for the second book in the rodeo series with the working title, Lassoing the Cowboy's Heart. I'm nearing my deadline with both of these books.

The Kindle edition of Sweet on the Cowgirl is back to it's regular price. I hope you snapped up a copy at the special pricing.
