I know why the word "dreaded" usually precedes synopsis in most writer's conversations. It is hard to pare down a 60,000 word story into a three page synopsis and still make it interesting enough to convince an editor to buy your book.
I have about 2/3rds of my third page left to go and I still haven't reached the climax of the story. Now, it's easy to wrap up the ending in about two lines in a romance...they work out their differences and begin a new life together so I'm not worried about that.
